- Responsible for a number of files which are dealt directly with clients.- Responsible to delegate and review client files.- Supervise and train staff members while promoting growth and efficiency.- Prepare Notice to Reader (NTR) financial statements.- Perform full cycle bookkeeping for multiple client groups.- Identify and assess accounting and tax matters with potential solutions.- Prepare investment write ups in Excel, Write Up, and other software.- Calculate payroll source deductions and prepare related remittances.- Calculate sales taxes (GST/QST) and file related remittances.- Build customized accounting and system solutions for clients in various industries.- Prepare accounting entries, schedules and other required forms arising from non-recurrent corporate transactions such as roll-overs, windups, and dissolutions or amalgamations.- Prepare personal, corporate, trust and partnership tax returns.- Prepare various tax slips such as T4, T4A, T5, NR4, RL31, ect.- Prepare and file special tax elections such as T2054, T2057, ect.- Communicate with tax authorities on behalf of clients and resolve any issues or comply with any enquires.- Assist in review engagements when required.- Assist in other various special mandates (for example, set-up of accounting systems at clients, consult start-ups by tracking cashflows and KPIs, help clients with bookkeeping/ accounting questions, voluntary disclosures, government quotas, ect.)
