My role was central to the smooth running of the departments day-to-day operations. This included organising the monthly news rota, payments, leave records, and broadcast requests.

Whilst working in Public Health my role was key to the coordination, support and delivery of various projects across the department. I liaised with Project Leads to create project plans to run projects from conception. I also supervised contract colleagues to ensure renewals were completed on time and it adhered to Council policies. I also worked with colleagues to develop new governance procedures.

Working as part of the Business and Projects Team within Public Health, my role was to provide project and administrative support to the department. This involved supporting multiple programmes, events and projects running simultaneously; such as High Blood Pressure monitoring, Smoking in Pregnancy and the launch of our new service Live Well Greenwich.

Working as part of the Business and Projects team within Greenwich Public Health, my main role was to provide business and administrative support to the commissioning teams in all aspects of contracting, monitoring of contracts and agreements in line with our strategy, plans and policies. I managed the departments' contract documents and assist in the contract data verification and processing of invoices I also engaged in the following:- Monitoring the department contract register - Supporting the re-procurement documentation ensuring the department adheres to strict government deadlines- Supporting the contract management of a portfolio of contracts- Ensure all the relevant contract documents including Invitation to Tender (ITT), specifications, contracts, payment schedules and purchase orders were in place within set time frames.

My role primarily entailed being responsible for providing administrative support within the Strategic Transformation office (STO), as well as key strategic projects being undertaken by the office. Furthermore, I was responsible for supporting and co-ordinate effective and accurate communication between the STO, Project Boards, project stakeholders and CU Governance Committees.

Skills developed:- Knowledge and experience of formal project management methodology (PRINCE2)- Developed and supported effective communication mechanisms between the Project Management team and external stakeholders- Provided assistance to the Project Manager in the production and maintenance of Project Plans - Responsible for the collation and maintenance of all programme and project data on theSharePoint Project Portal
