Originally Telecom engineer, I have now almost 20 successful years of experience in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). I am a key player in advancing strategic frameworks for deployment of Connected Vehicles (V2V, V2I, V2X), Automated Mobility (CAD, CAM, CCAM) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). I am passionate about seamless, safe, smart, clean, accessible & affordable transport enabled by connectivity. Strategic thinker leveraging on innovative technologies, IoT, 5G, V2X, Big Data, Cloud computing, Artificial Intelligence & Deep Learning, to accelerate deployment of new disruptive mobility solutions. I have acted as a facilitator and mediator to bring international experts, decision and policy makers together with divergent interests and expectations from industry, public authorities and research. I am a team leader and coach for highly qualified engineers in an intellectually intense and demanding environment. I have initiated and coordinated numerous EU funded projects (from FP5 to H2020) in Intelligent Transport Systems. I was advisor for EU policy making bodies in the transport and telecom sectors. I am a multilingual international experiences (Fluent in French, English & Swedish; Reading in Dutch, Basic in Spanish). I have lived and worked in Belgium, Sweden, and the US.
