I am interested in analyzing and visualizing data to test hypotheses and discover hidden insights. I enjoy building mathematical models which fit data in order to make predictions or to uncover underlying mechanisms. During my PhD in experimental biophysics, I found that building a mathematical model to describe the mechanics of neurons was challenging and exciting, while designing the experiment to acquire this data was very rewarding and required years of planning, hard work, perseverance and creativity. In my spare time, I like to play with any data which interests me (physics, sports, chess, covid, etc.) because I find data both beautiful and powerful.
