I was hired as a Sales Associate, quickly promoted to Shoe Manager, and then promoted to Assistant Store Manger at the "Flagship" Boylston St. store in Boston's Back Bay. I was then promoted to Store Manager at the Portor Square Store in Cambridge. In this position, I manage and oversee store operations, product placement and technical information, inventory and overall sales. I recruit, train, schedule and evaluate 30 staff members. By mentoring staff and creating a team environment, I build and maintain strong customer relations. Reporting to corporate management, I review and analyze sales and gross profits using various reports, monitor and control store expenses.
