My role here has had two main parts: - responsiblity for all of the central finance operations, including all accounting, transaction processing and distribution of monthly results leading a major process improvement programme - supporting the shareholders in all elements of a strategic review of the business

Chief Financial Officer at this acquisitive healthcare group owned by Montreux Capital. This involved the full range of normal PE CFO responsibilities (reporting, forecasting, managing relationships with banks and investors etc). I was additionally responsible for IT (scoping and leading the development of a full new set of business systems covering Finance, HR, Payroll and Business Operations) and the completion and integration of five acquisitions, doubling the size of the business.

Responsible for all accounting and transaction processing functions across the group, including consolidation and accounting policy derivation. Line management responsibility for approximately 150 people across the UK, Canada, US, Norway, Singapore and Australia. This role has also involved leadership of the change management and system implementation required to integrate four previously independent national/operating company teams into one coherent function operating on one SAP ERP system.. My previous role had been as Director of Finance of the main (UK) operating company with additional responsibility for external plc corporate reporting. Other roles at Inmarsat previously had included F,P&A, strategic financial planning and M&A. I have also supported numerous investor relations and financing activities.
