Gather public-appropriate information regarding various active cases, reports and incidents relevant to Provo Police. Disseminate information to media outlets via various methods of communication including social media, live interviews, and formally written press releases.

SWAT was an amazing experience. It was an honor serving with the very best and highly trained police and SWAT paramedics. During my time on the team I served as entry and then eventually team leader over the breachers and gas technicians. Our primary focus was to assist the team to make entry into the target residence as quickly as possible.

While on Patrol I responded to almost anything you can think of.

As a Police Sergeant, I supervised the Patrol Division and the School Resource Officers in the Provo School District.

The COP unit focused on the chronic problems in a neighborhood. We worked closely with the Community to solve problems and reduce crimes.

* I planned and coordinated small and large events for the city. I also created security plans for mass gatherings that brought in anywhere from 6,000 to 400,000 people to the City of Provo. Events include two annual marathons, the Freedom Festival, Stadium of Fire, and all BYU football games scheduled in Provo.
