I worked on the implementation of IFRS 9 (Investment Contracts) and IFRS 17 (Insurance Contracts) in the insurance group.

Responsible for Corporate Finance, Investment Management (1,4 billion EUR), Accounting, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Investors' Relations. I managed the team of 6 executive directors/directors with 2.400 employees in the group. I carried out sizable M&A projects that substantially improved strategic position of the group and provided a good return on the invested capital. In the six year period the ROE of the group increased from 3,5% to 11,3%. On the board level I was responsible and successfully carried out the implementation of Solvency II regime. Due to the improvement in the enterprise risk management the group received a positive outlook from an international rating agency. I optimized the investment portfolio with the introduction of real estate and infrastructure investments.

Licensed Asset Management and Brokerage House. Responsible for Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, IT. Managed the theam of 3 directors, cca 40 employees in the company. Successful MIFID I implementation, establishment of treasury and risk management function, new product development for clients, implementation of the new core IT system, reshaping the company to adapt to the financial crisis (downsizing in workforce, cost reduction, process optimisation).

Responsible for Corporate Finance, Investment Management (1 billion EUR), Accounting. Managed the team of 3 executive directors, cca 3.000 employees in the group. Main acheivements: optimization of the capital structure, successfuly carried out M&A transactions, established and chairing ALM committee, improvements in cost accounting, investment portolio optimisation and enlargement of the management team, implementation of the new IT support for general ledger and investment management.
