Senior Outside Investigator for over 11 years, Laid Off, 08/17/2023. due to corporate restructuring. Investigated auto-related insurance claims in MD, PA, WV, and Washington DC. These include comprehensive, collision, bodily injury, PIP(Personal Injury Protection) uninsured motorist property damage, and minimal impact losses. I worked on staged accident losses in Baltimore MD exclusively for 1 year. As part of my job, I conduct examinations under oath, record interviews and statements, conduct scene canvases, obtain surveillance video and body-worn camera footage from police departments, obtain data from vehicles using Bosch Crash Data Retrieval software, and examine photos and documents supplied by insureds to verify their validity. I also conduct vehicle inspections of claim damage and work with outside experts in accident reconstruction and engineering fields to gather necessary facts to deny fraudulent claims and refer them to state authorities or prosecutor's offices for prosecution when warranted. I have extensive experience doing background and social media searches using ISO claims database, TLOXP, and searching Google and social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter, etc. I wrote detailed reports of my findings and make appropriate entries into our case management system. I network and have established contacts within the auto insurance industry and in law enforcement and state attorney's offices. I have testified in PA and MD state courts. I travel as necessary to perform my duties and do in-person interviews. I am proficient in Microsoft Office.

Contract Investigator- Reviewed assigned cases to determine the venue and to determine if there was sufficient evidence or opportunities to obtain sufficient evidence to file criminal charges under the MD Insurance Article. Conducted additional interviews, obtained video surveillance footage, subpoenaed phone records, and upon having probable cause reviewed with county state attorney's offices or Attorney General Prosecutors and filed for charges with MD State Court Commissioners. Testified in court and obtained convictions on prosecutable cases.
