The objective of the SFPR program is to establish a level of confidence that selected systems important to safe and reliable operation can demonstrate functional performance consistent with the design basis. An additional objective of the SFPR program is to identify and initiate appropriate corrective actions. Responsibilities include supervising the activities of assigned team members, coordinating review activities with other interfacing organizations, preparation of required and obtaining required concurrence from the Systems Independent Review Group.
