I was member of the pioneer Supply Chain team in the company. By being part of the planning area, I can mention amongst my responsibilities that: I developed and managed the production planning of finished and semi-finished products, ensuring enough stocks to fulfil demand, framed on inventory and productive processes policies. I was accountable for the complete coordination of the company’s order system. I was the first production planner of the brand new Supply Chain Division at that time, achieving the unification of the fragmented order system, in a sole position, establishing procedures and key performance indicators as well, switching a production system based solely on historical data by a new one, founded on forecasts and demand estimates. I was in charge of carrying out studies related to the company’s logistics operations as well as to develop proposals and projects to implement new technologies and upgrades in these processes. I worked also in bidding processes of explosives transportation, adjustment of tariff control systems and acted as the area’s controller engineer.Amongst the results obtained, an integral control system of third-party transportation companies can be highlighted, in which were managed indicators such as safety, customer service, enforcement of labour obligations, etc., facilitating criteria for a subsequent contractor assessment.
