Assist the department in fully implementing and utilizing the Arizona Management System to achieve more mission outcomes.Provide training and coaching to staff and leaders at all levels of the department on Lean methodologies and practices.Facilitate Kaizen Events, process development activities, and customer engagement sessions. Chosen to direct and manage a record digitization and destruction project that seeks to transition the department from a primarily paper-based record keeping system to an all or near-all digital system, resulting in the digitization of over 22,000 real estate records to date. Supervise a staff of two temporary workers to assist in the record digitization project. Management duties include: coordinating work assignments, creating benchmarks, and addressing staff needs/concerns.Coordinate with division managers to design and propose improvements to existing record retention schedules in order to provide greater clarity and to better align with departmental goals and objectives. Provide administrative support to the Assistant Commissioner of Operations for daily tasks, special projects, and legislative duties.

Identified and analyzed proposed state bills for potential impact to the Department of Real Estate during the 2014 Legislative Session.Responsible for preparing and distributing bill tracking reports and summaries to the Legislative Liaison and department leadership on a daily basis.Assisted the Legislative Liaison in drafting legislative materials, including briefing memos, statements, and bill language.
