Startup and owner of sole proprietorship, Variegated Roast. Variegated Roast aims to be a coffee shop that is filled with various plants, especially the variegated kinds. Till then, I am focusing on making and selling: stained glass decorations, terrariums and terrariums kits, cross-stitch decorations and cross-stitch kits, potted plants, recycled paper, and other small projects. Eventually Variegated Roast plans to partner with a local coffee company and begin selling our name - lightly roasted beans, or variegated beans if you will.

Learned and utilized the use of the following machines: Lathe, horizontal and vertical band saw, manual mill, plasma cutter, cold cut saw, router, 3D printers, and more to manufacture projects; used software such as Solidworks, GrabCAD, and CamBam to design, analyze, and produce drawings for components or equipment; communicated within the company as well as outside companies in order to gather the information needed to successfully manufacture what was needed

Designed tooling to improve machinery; designed and printed 3D models using Solidworks, Creo, and Markforged; measured cycle times; made master parts; and ran machines as an operator

Perform duties and responsibilities that will help develop course related skills, such as: design, print, and implement parts using Fusion 360 and Prusa Slicer.

The summer of 2018 I was hired as a part time co-op with Pomeroy. While I was there my job included collecting and delivering assets, setting up new employee workstations, and completing and closing ticket queues. I had to leave at the end of the summer because I was starting college at the J.B. Speed school of Engineering in Louisville.
