I work part-time for the University College of Estate Management (UCEM), which is partnering with the Royal Agricultural University (RAU) and the the Countryside and Community Research Institute (CCRI) at the University of Gloucestershire. As part of a HEFCE funded Catalyst programme, the RAU and UoG are providing distance accelerated degrees and part-time programmes, specifically two postgraduate and two undergraduate programmes. The two postgraduate programmes have been developed collaboratively, using flexible consistent design processes.

Interim management of the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) Learning Technology & Innovation Team and its Educational Development Team. I evaluated team capability as part of a change programme.

At Admiral Training, I led consulting assignments with major corporate clients, bringing in project teams to deliver training and online learning solutions. I project managed e-learning and consulting projects across the UK & Europe. I developed and implemented an ISO compliant training development methodology. I designed online learning for corporate clients and won a financial services Gold Award for a published title, 'Effective Teamwork'.

Learning design and media production. MPC started out in 1970 as a production company in London producing TV commercials. Today, it has creative studios all over the world – London, Los Angeles, New York, Amsterdam, Paris, Shanghai and Bangalore.

I am expert in online education and change, helping organisations to deliver effective teaching and learning. I specialise in the shift to online delivery. I have held senior roles in both education and business. Practical, pragmatic up-to-date experience and a disciplined approach. Projects - Online education strategy, model, process and staff development (130 staff) to help academics teach online (University of Southampton Business School Covid19 project) - Interim management of the Royal Veterinary College’s Learning Technology & Innovation team and Educational Development team. - Project management for an apprenticeship, shortlisted for ‘Best Blended Learning Project’ award. - Wrote six Leadership & Management modules for the University of East London. - Project management and learning design for a massive open online course (MOOC) on Digital Marketing (University of Southampton Business School). Media startup. I wrote proposals, managed account relationships and led project delivery for corporate clients such as JP Morgan and HE clients such as City University.

An IT services business, Admiral plc grew strongly during the 1990s. In readiness for a merger (with Logica), I reported to Admiral's CEO for three years, managing corporate marketing and rebranding, improving financial communications and managing global internal communications. Now CGI, with 77,500 people the company is among the largest IT and business consulting services firms in the world.

I led a programme of projects that support new students' transition to university life. Projects included data-driven investigations, student Transition Mentors, Peer Advisors, Pre-arrival Websites and staff development initiatives. I was a member of the Southampton Welcome Project Board. I also lectured on the Clinical Leadership module.

The University of Southampton is one of the top 75 universities in the world. Working part-time, I coordinated the University's Employer Engagement programme, managed freelance distance learning writers, wrote the university's Technology Enhanced Learning Guide (2010) and contributed to the MSc Digital Marketing and PG Cert Environmental Health.

The Open University transforms lives through education. I led the media production team and account-managed the relationship with Faculty through a major restructure, introducing new management and production practices. My team provided editing, design, artwork, interactive media, intellectual property and picture search for all the OU Social Sciences courses.
