* My responsibility in this role was to increase program support and funding, first in northeast/mid-Atlantic states, and then across a 27-state region, both as manager and as individual contributor in a subset of states. I had the privilege of representing the program before state and national audiences. A few of my proudest accomplishments include: * Educated encouraged northeastern states to utilize a new federal funding stream for * Nurse-Family Partnership, resulting in two new state partners and expansions in six other * states * Consolidated multiple regional teams into one, effectively managing transitions of staff * and roles * Forged collaborations with programs previously viewed as competitors in a successful * expansion strategy that resulted in growth from three to all 21 counties in the state

Public/Private Ventures (P/PV) is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the effectiveness of social policies, programs and community initiatives, especially as they affect youth and young adults. My primary responsibility was to manage and sustain the Nurse-Family Partnership program in the northeast/mid-Atlantic region. * My focus is on sustaining and expanding maternal and child health programs for Philadelphia families with children ages zero to five. The National Nurse-led Consortium (NNCC) administers one of the largest home visiting sites in Pennsylvania, serving more than 700 women and their children annually. NNCC has developed innovative approaches to meet the increasingly complex needs of participating families, including support in the areas of mental health, legal aid, and more.

* My primary responsibilities included strategic planning; state advocacy plan development; staff recruitment, training and oversight; consultant contract execution and management; and resource allocation to drive national expansion of Nurse-Family Partnership. A few of my most recent accomplishements include: * Wrote proposal that laid foundation for a multi-milllion award in a state budget * Negotiated a contract amendment with a state government to bring enrollment criteria in * line with national standards * Advocated with successful outcome for sustainable Medicaid funding in a state by * providing key legislative staff with independent reviews of the program’s cost savings * Provided leadership to expand the program into 42 states and provided direct donor * outreach to help the organization to secure a lead gift of historic proportions

During my tenure, I completed rotation assignments within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Justice.
