• Processing of client payroll, to include weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly, monthly and annual payroll's using sage payroll.• Manual calculations of tax and National Insurance.• Submitting payroll to HMRC under the RTI rules.• Maintaining high levels of accuracy completing the payroll using the client’s data.• Use of Sage 50 payroll to set up companies and employees ensuring that correct tax codes and details are entered.• Use of Sage Pension module to do assessments, postponements and letter to employees.• Processing, assessments and running pension payments under the rules of auto enrollment using various portals to include Royal London, Nest, Peoples,Creative, Smart and Now.•Submitting Declaration of Compliance and re-declarations to the Pensions Regulator.• Filing of monthly CIS returns including verifications and amending returns if needed.

• Carry out through analysis of all pay award and payroll changes highlighting any issues arising to management.• Provide support and advice to employees, responding to queries relating to Pension, Tax, National Insurance and salary deductions.• Ensuring that legal notifications. CSA payments and HMRC correspondence are dealt with ensuring that the legal implications of the information are addressed.• Designing ad hoc reports at all levels clarifying payroll data and information when required.• Ensuring that Bacs payments are reviewed and checked before final payment.• Ensuring that all standards for cross checking are met for legal and Audit requirements• Processing of over 500 timesheets every month whilst maintaining an error rate of less than 2%.

• Inputting of starters and leavers using a variety of payroll systems (Epayfact and Trent)• Ensuring compliance of all statutory notices and changes• Review of final salary reports before final payment run.• Providing support and advice to staff on pay related matters

• Providing advise on financial solutions to include IVA’s Debt management and Bankruptcy to clients • Reconciliation of client accounts to match up payments in and payments out to creditors.
