As one of the studio coaches of a strong and fun team at F45 Townsville City I guided clients through a variety of safe strength & conditioning circuit-based workouts, modified to their fitness levels and medical considerations. Classes were always high energy and at capacity. I continuously build a strong reputation as a coach demonstrated through consistent new client retention and client success. I was involved in multiple promotional events for the studio where we partnered up with a variety of local businesses to not only support local but increase studio exposure and potential future collaborations with other companies. I am an approachable health and fitness resource for all class participants and members and maintain positive relationship with everyone. I also worked with a wonderful team of coaches and managers to help the studio with sales and marketing online and offline to hit our sales and marketing targets.

As a Personal Trainer with Steve Nash Fitness World & Sports Club, I became an ambassador for BC’s largest provider of health, fitness and wellbeing. Being a part of such a forward thinking, fast growing company, the exclusive internal education program was on going and incredibly beneficial to me in becoming the trainer I am now; this included extensive training and development in service, science and sales, continued education credits and internationally recognised certifications. This position required me to have an active client base by demonstrating the value of personal training through goal setting, customized exercise programs and tracking progress. I was required to proactively engage with the community, members and social media to share my passion for health and fitness, demonstrate and monitor safe equipment use and exercises.

This global company had very high expectations when it came to customer service and building rapport which I can happily say my skills have sharpened accordingly. As well as training my weekly clients I was running group fitness classes throughout the day, ranging from military style boot camps to HIIT classes.

The Pure Gym approach had a big emphasis on running high intensity and enthusiasm filled classes including pump, spin, fat burn, combat and boot camps. With a strong team of 12 our roles, other than our personal training sessions, included customer service on our floor hours, equipment maintenance and membership sales and promotions.

In February 2018, I started my In-Person and Online Personal Training & Health Coaching Business, HOLIFIT BY LAUREN. It focuses on inspiring, coaching and educating every day gym goers by following personalized and strategic programs that is guaranteed to double their results and achieve their goals by taking a holistic approaching to health and fitness. With the bonus of the HoliFit By Lauren App I had developed to be used with the program, and taking multiple social media marketing courses and hiring a business coach to help launch my business, I can now say that I am a happy and successful business owner and an expert in Social Media Marketing.
