Allegro Systems is a company focusing on a mobile payment system supporting both credit cards and stored value cards. They have a strategic and financial relationship with Epay Worldwide concentrating in prepaid systems. I have provided architecture leadership and am a principal engineer on the following systems: Wipit – A mobile payment system supporting Android and iPhone clients. My responsibility was to create a highly-scalable real-time payment service with CyberSource credit card and Epay prepaid providers. The system is PCI compliant and I architected and implemented a security system for storing financial data using 3DES and RSA encryption. (WCF, C#, 3DES, RSA, SQL 2008) Epay Bill Payment – A mobile bill payment system supporting both WAP 2.0, Android, and iPhone clients. My responsibility was to develop a WCF web service to integrate with Epay’s bill payment system and CyberSource for payments, and to develop a WAP 2.0 XHTML web application to consume these services. WorkstyleTM – Technical Lead for several components of the WorkstyleTM product. WorkstyleTM is a product that allows users to browse groupware information from any device that has an internet browser. When a request is received by the IIS ISAPI Extension, the browser type is queried and is handed off to either the phone navigation service or the PDA / Desktop navigation service for processing. The navigation service then requests the groupware data provider for the appropriate information which would be returned to the navigation service in an XML format. The navigation service then uses the browser type to reference the appropriate XSL style sheet to render the data to the requesting device. WorkstyleTM also provides a notification service for arriving emails based on user-defined rules. As a technical lead, I lead the design and implementation for the PDA / Desktop navigation service and the notification service. * Arrive - Designed and implemented the Arrive Channel Production Tools. Arrive is an internet push technology client-server delivery system which allows PCs to become television-like multimedia channel players that allow the end-user to customize Internet Channel programming. * PC/Windows NT, Visual C++, MFC, STL) * Epic Records - Technical lead for the design of the Epic Record dynamic data feed. The implementation used a Java program and JDBC drivers to query an Oracle database for record artist information to be fed into the back end of the Channel Production tools. * Windows NT, Java, JDBC, Oracle) * KPIX - Technical Lead for the design of the KPIX dynamic data feed. The program performs a Web scrape of the KPIX Web site and gathers news, weather, and traffic information which were fed into the back end of the Channel Production Tools. * Windows NT, Visual C++, MFC)

TRSS - Designed, developed, programmed and implemented software for an unattended ground sensor system that provides all-weather detection, target indication, and monitoring of remote activity through implanted sensors and relays in real-time and non-real-time modes. Implemented the software in C, hosted on a Unix-based Grid 386 platform, and is developed under the purview of DoD-STD-2167A. (PC, SCO Unix, C, Assembly Language, X-Windows, Motif)

* Stellcom is a software consulting company (Client - SAIC): Large Area Tracking Range (LATR) System -Design, develop, program and implement software for an integrated, offshore, over-the-horizon, time-space-position information system capable of supporting tactical training exercises. Using GPS satellite tracking, the system provides tracking for up to 124 air, surface, and sub-surface training exercise participants. Optical Jukebox - Responsibilities include, the design and implementation of the communications to control the flow of data between the archiving display processes using a library developed on top of the TCP/IP stack; the communications to control real-time and non-real-time downloads to remote sites; a scheduler to control tasks to the local and remote Optical Jukebox devices.
