I was a one person office. I handled all aspects of the office except estimation. Phones, typing, bookkeeping, payroll, research on the internet for companies or products, help setup next day projects with product, union reporting, insurance and insurance audits, etc.

I process all aspects of office work/procedures. I am a one person office. My responsibilities vary due to the small office setting; answering phones, typing correspondence, processing A/P and A/R, payroll, process quarterly reports for payroll, process monthly union reports, track costs on all projects, call JULIE'S in, keep project files updated, order supplies, etc. I also maintain a second company in QuickBooks and 6 separate checking accounts for the owner. One of which is for apartment rentals. In addition, I take service calls from renters and see the problems through, log rent payments and any other issues that may arise.

My responsibilities included receptionist, customer service, bookkeeping and administrative. I would take customer service orders, set up the service or contract job, invoice the job and process payment for the job. I processed all accounts payable and accounts receivable. I processed payroll and filed the tax returns. On the administrative side, I created a job numbering system, set up office procedures, typed proposals, set up a filing system and maintained the files. My largest accomplishment was transferring our books from one accounting system to another.
