Taught students how to image hard drives, mount images in Linux and how to properly extract and examine evidence using tools from the Sleuth Kit and the importance of maintaining chain of custody with evidence.. Owner and sole employee of this part-time business. It started with performing routine computer repair for home, local government and commercial customers. I later expanded the business to include digital forensic services for private legal matters, such as divorce and employee misuse of computers. Testified in a church trial which led to the dismissal of a minister from the denomination for misuse of a church computer. Also provided digital forensic services to malware and scam victims, searching for evidence of system compromise and attempting recovery of files from ransomware infect devices.
