The Healthy Osprey Ambassadors' mission is to reach out to all UNF students with the major intent to transform their health and encourage healthier lifestyle choices through providing education on all programs, services and resources available throughout the campus community. The Healthy Osprey Ambassador works in conjunction with target groups and departments on campus including the Department of Health Promotions,and the Department of Admissions as well as Jacksonville community groups. The Healthy Osprey student survey reached 250 respondents in the first day of release, ending with 10 percent of the student population (over 1600 responses) after 3 weeks. This survey and other on campus research informs the science-based programming of the Healthy Osprey Initiative.
