Women Asia pacific Centers for Technology Transfer (APCTT), New Delhi, India May- Sept 1993 Explored the women’s interrelation with energy and agriculture, their involvement in energy management, economics on existing technologies, identified technology producing centers, research centers, and technology transferring organizations and financing institutions including micro-finance. Analyzed the existing rural women technologies and technology options on existing women entrepreneurs in Nepal and presented a paper on the findings in a workshop organized by APCTT in New Delhi, India. Wood Energy Policy Development in Cambodiao Standardized improved charcoal and wood stoves using molds and templates, trained copy producers to produce quality assured stoves, conduct stoves testing produced from each trained stove producer, organized training program to people involved in stoves marketing channel. o Organized wood vinegar and sustainable charcoal production from Community Forest, and organized training in properly using them to boost soil fertility, pest repellant and increase agricultural productivity. o Introduced a multipurpose plant Jatropha curcas to the farmers’ community, plantation technique, oil extraction and run diesel engine. o Trained local NGOs to produce commercial char-briquette production from agro-wastes, biogas from pigs dropping and fuel-efficient kerosene stoves metal sheet.o Utilized char powder mix with compost / biogas slurry / Jatropha seed cake to improve soil fertility.o Coordinated with Ministry of Energy and Agriculture to promote technologies and wood energy policy.
