At SEDS-USA, I worked as Vice-Chair to head fundraising efforts for the organization. In addition, I also acted as the liaison to the Board of Advisers and to alumni of the organization.

I was responsible for the design, analysis and fabrication of the excavation subsystem for the Purdue Lunabotics team participating in the NASA Lunabotics Mining Competition.

I wrote several grant proposals to acquire over $20,000 in funding for the team and was responsible for managing the team's progress. I successfully led the team to design and build a lunabot from scratch for our first year in the competition.

I was in charge of monitoring sample runs to ensure smooth operations of the mass spectrometry accelerator. I occasionally helped load the sample wheel in the source of the accelerator to start a new run.

My job was to perform simulations in ANSYS Fluent to model the low-pressure and low-temperature flow of sublimated water vapor in a pharmaceutical freeze drier. I then analyzed the results in Tecplot 360 to observe variations in pressure and temperature within the freeze drier and compared these variations to measured data.

I was in charge of writing promotional materials released for the Student NewSpace Business Plan Competition in 2012

I represented the chapter at the SEDS-USA Council of Chapters and kept the chapter informed of national updates.

I developed a MATLAB program that generates BADA (Base of Aircraft Data) files for UAVs and commercial airliners. To achieve this, I worked with FLOPS (Flight Optimization System) to generate simulated flight performance data to be processed by the MATLAB program and output to BADA files.

As Chief of Staff, I was responsible for recruiting and supervising staff volunteers for daily operations. This includes staff for developing our competitions (CAN-RGX and YSPACE) and Alumni Network, maintaining and growing our online profile through our website and social media, and all our graphics needs. I also supported the Board of Directors in strategic planning, organization growth, and conference planning.

I created the organization's constitution to establish rules of governance and operations and devised goals to achieve state-wide recognition and promotion of astronomy within the community. Through the club, we engaged a lot of students and members of public in astronomy and showed them fascinating astronomical sights through our telescopes.

I mentored 15 students in 5 teams tasked to build Arduino-based robots that can autonomously play a game of Connect Four. From the top 8 teams out of 52, 3 were under my supervision.

I lead our product and business development strategies to help solve some of our partners and customers' challenges in spaceflight mission development and operations. After my term at SEDS-USA, I led a team to revive SEDS-Canada. We are working to build a network of local student clubs across Canada and advocate for a better space program to the general public and government officials. After working to incorporate the organization as a federal not-for-profit, my work includes helping to grow SEDS-Canada, building partnerships with other organizations, creating opportunities for our chapters, and performing other tasks such as graphics design. At SEDS-Canada, I co-founded 2 unique student competitions: the Canadian Reduced Gravity Design Challenge (CAN-RGX), and the Young Space Entrepreneurs Competition (YSPACE)

As a robotics engineer, I contributed to the development of advanced technologies for mobile/field robotics in the areas of terrain perception/interaction and path planning with applications in planetary and terrestrial exploration and mission operations.
