Kaine reads programming scripts and identify potential copyright and trademark conflicts, identify content to be licensed, and make recommendations with both creative goals and legal guidelines in mind. Kaine drafts licensing agreements, including mechanical, master-use, and synchronization agreements and monitor the expiration of agreement terms. In preparation for large-scale television productions, he secures rights for songs, images, materials, and video use, through fee negotiations and requests. Additionally, Kaine vets production companies and music libraries, to confirm compliance with the company's standards and practices. Kaine conducts extensive legal research on intellectual property issues and draft memorandums on issues surrounding the fair-use doctrine and monitor fair-use litigation in the television broadcasting and social media context. In preparation for tentpole productions, Kaine draft contracts for vendors and sponsors for various events. Kaine works on multiple digital download projects, including distributions with iTunes and Netflix, which includes media clearances and legal drafting. Also, he participated in Standards & Practices discussions, in which he helped evaluate risk exposure and brand promotion with a focus on domestic and UK broadcasts.

Kaine Hampton worked closely with legal department and production teams on digital content exploitation projects and made recommendations centered on financial and creative goals. Kaine managed digital projects for artists such as Beyonce, Chaka Khan, and Johnny Cash. Kaine independently conducted financial research on industry trends and composed monthly reports, in which he conveyed his findings directly to the Chief Operating Officer to assist in making creative and management decisions. Kaine worked to increase revenue production by making suggestions based off market trends and project budgets. His job included a heavy emphasis on research and writing to stay abreast of the relevant industry standards. Kaine worked with multiple departments and presented monthly financial statements via executive presentations to several client groups. Kaine's knowledge of industry happenings and economic developments was integral in helping shape the company’s production goals. Additionally, he analyzed financial data and transmitted the data to technical reports and graphs.
