* Partially automated consolidation of data from legacy systems for data transformation and migration project of ~42 million records using Excel and VBA to pull data from IBM BPCS ERP software, spreadsheets, and engineering drawings. Script would pull data from structured sources and provide drawing/spec sheet names for unstructured sources of data. Created batching process to migrate unstructured documents (pdf's) using Excel and VBA to match documents with directories and generate batch script syntax to rename and transfer pdf's to their appropriate directory location. Worked to implement an interface between Trinity and Industry systems (TAS and UMLER) by using knowledge of UMLER’s Data Specification and providing translation between TAS and UMLER permissible values.

* Automated reporting of industry railcar registrations in CSV files using VBA to aggregate like railcars and perform SQL queries against MS SQL server database to pull model specifications. Reduced report generation time from several hours to <3 minutes. * Designed and created database and data entry forms using MS Access for tracking infrastructure investment in key markets to support sales and determine likely areas for railcar inquiries. * Work with a group of analysts to create a monthly market outlook that covers market conditions and trends.
