Responsible of the purchasing team (two indirect buyers) o Set their goals for the year (savings, projects) o Monthly review of their KPI’s o Work in strategies in order to develop them as buyers and the department o With the purchasing director set the goals for the department for the year Supply chain (with shipments worldwide mainly China, India, Europe and USA) o Define the best way to move material (cost and time) o Negotiate with forwarders cost rates. o Savings measured in KPI’s Develop suppliers in North America region (Raw Material) o Make the first contact and audit o Define if they are able to work according the company and industry standards o Send RFQ’s and assign projects to them o Leading the “charge back” committee, if there any problem with the suppliers Defend quality audits (purchasing segment) o Experience with OEM’s audits like VDA, BIQ o Experience with IATF 16949 Indirect Purchasing (projects) o Arrange the logistic for the machines o Negotiate all the new projects with the suppliers (mainly installations).
