Josh Rubin is a photographer, interaction designer, entrepreneur and the co-founder and Executive Creative Director of COOL HUNTING—one of the first online independent publication highlighting innovations in culture, design and technology for a global audience of creative professionals. The Webby Award‑winning business leverages their editorial access and insight operating an original content studio, strategic consultancy, hosted travel service and experimental retail program. Josh held design leadership positions at Razorfish and Motorola. He earned a BA in Cognitive Science and Photography from Hampshire College and a Master’s from NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program, where his 1999 graduate thesis focused on modular, scalable, touch-screen interfaces. Josh runs COOL HUNTING in partnership with his husband Evan Orensten.
