Assembled dimmer switches at Lutron's Brookdale Production Facility

Performed Traffic Control duties for various paving operations. Operated International Roughness Index (IRI) van along completed paving surfaces to determine whether a penalty or bonus was warranted. Visited various stone quarries and asphalt batch plants to witness material testing. Performed quantity takeoffs for bidding purposes and assisted Plant managers with cost estimates. Developed spreadsheet to correlate daily ambient temperatures with asphalt mix percentages for cost cutting measures.

Summer rotational program in District 5. Duties were assigned by Assistant District Engineer - Construction Unit. Observed Transportation Construction Inspection on State Route 222 Section 002 Bypass project under the Inspector-In-Charge. Reviewed contract, plans, and specifications with Support Services Unit and followed guiderail maintenance Contractor with Inspector to witness repair and replacement of damaged guiderails throughout Berks County. Assisted Finals Unit Supervisor with project closeout and visited construction project field office to troubleshoot ECMS issues. Traveled to active bridge construction projects with Structure Control Engineer. Performed material testing at various stone quarries and asphalt and concrete batch mix plants with onsite plant Inspectors.
