Writing software with compassion to reduce users' pain and stress through one of the most difficult moments we all face sooner or later: the planning of a memorial for a loved one or for one's self. At Ever Loved, I’ve built an entire eCommerce marketplace from scratch for vendors to offer reasonably-priced caskets, urns and more to our users, built an inter-user messaging system from scratch, designed and implemented major user experience reworks to nearly every portion of the site, overhauled our checkout process (twice!), upgraded our fundraising data model, brought support for fundraisers and donations in Canadian dollars, created a a theming framework for colorful and custom memorial websites, and dozens of other major features.

In addition to day-to-day software development efforts, I was responsible for making all key technology decisions in the planning and implementation of new products. At SnapShip I built back-ends, front-ends, on-premises IoT installations, an asynchronous expert rules engine -- everything needed to ship thousands of packages on-time every day to happy customers around the globe.

Responsible for day-to-day development efforts of Loup's mobile apps and web service. With Loup I developed a native and convenient iOS interface for Loup drivers to stay on their routes and navigate picking up and dropping off their passengers.

Responsible for the development of the Amazon Workspaces App for iPad and Android tablets. Accomplishments include a service health check feature and interactive display zoom. Scoped and presented a UI/UX overhaul for the suite of apps before leaving.

Managed software release pipelines, monitored and maintained system & infrastructure health, assisted software development teams, oversaw provisioning of internal and public AWS resources, developed in-house tools and high-performance load testing software, and handled highest-level customer support issues. 24/7 on-call every six weeks.

Supported students on campus with their computers, troubleshooted issues from simple spyware, to network connectivity, to operating system failures. Required familiarity with PCs and Apple computers along with their operating systems, as well as basic understanding of network management and operation. Additionally, required top-rate customer service.

Dealt with the University's company credit card reconciling software as well as administrative work relating to cost-effective purchasing.

Designed and developed web application for a community-driven, collaborative consumption-based service, LendingShack.com. Responsible for User Experience design as well as general maintenance, usability analysis, issue resolution, and marketing.

Dealt with the maintenance of web-based digital asset management for large-scale corporations. Designed and developed websites for smaller-scale clients.
