Responsible for 100% customer satisfaction through the sales and delivery process of an average of 20 new and used Honda automobiles a month. 3 of the 8 months in this position I was top salesman of the month.

Evaluated quality programs of chemical suppliers located out of state, who where considered for selection of manufacturing and filling the chemical crucibles used to supply gases in the Focused Ion Beam system. After evaluations, reported highlights and areas of improvements. Once selected worked with chemical supplier to ensure all improvements were implemented prior to initial deliveries. This was completed in 3 weeks time. Working with Focused Ion Beam column supplier located in Aux Province, France. This column is the key piece of technology used in our system but the yield upon receipt from this supplier was 25% first test pass. The goal is to collect and analyze current and past failures in the products delivered. Then work with them to create new test methods to detect and prevent further failures in the current product they deliver to Schlumberger. This was successfully completed over three months.

Rehired to manage the production of a VLSI, CPU component tester designed to test Intel’s Pentium 4 CPUs in the Test Systems product line. Successfully met the production ramp by increasing the on time delivery from the current 8 systems to 12 systems a month through the reduction of cycle times, increased out sourcing and efforts of working with suppliers on quality issues. 3 months after the rehire, I was assigned manager of the products in the Integrated Diagnostic Systems, position previously held at Schlumberger, as well as the Test System products. Between all product responsibilities I’m accountable for the management of 13 employees and $75 Million in revenue annually for Schlumberger. Successfully worked closely with a major customer, Intel, to restore their confidence back that Schlumberger was delivering quality tested products to all their sites. This was achieved through communication in weekly meetings, producing schedules that were consistently met and agreeing on an acceptance approval process prior to shipping the product to the customer site.

Worked with both engineering and suppliers to increase product yield and reliability in the heart of our systems technology, multi chip modules. Collected and analyzed data on various components of the multi chip module (thermal conductive epoxy, wire bonds and plating of the lead frame for solderability). Work led to a slight redesign of the substrate, die, and wire bond machine used by the manufacturer and increased the product yield through test on the multi-chip module by 65% to the prior low yield. Worked with the PCBA manufacturing group to resolve manufacturing issues that may arise which would result in myself writing Engineering Change Orders, ECO’s, that would guide them to successfully complete the build to our high quality standards.

* Designed and developed the In-Circuit Test programs and fixtures for complex analog and digital PCBAs. * Worked with upper management on evaluation, selection, and justification of test equipment. * Worked with CAD engineering and the fixture manufacture to create test guidelines and a process to automate node placement programs to reduce fixture design and manufacture cycle times. * Trained 7 other engineers the process of component modeling, program development, and fixture design.
