Reporting to the Transport Manager, whose workforce fluctuates between 100 to 230 full time employees. This includes agency with different terms and conditions. I work closely with the Management team to understand and help find solutions for operational challenges; I use my leadership skills to build the capability and confidence of the management team to deliver step change. I lead from the front, drive continuous improvement. Liaise with store Managers & SD`s other DC`s outside hauliers to build better relationship & delivery profile.

I have had various roles during my time in the army. The main roles have all been as a training instructor. This has involved various aspects of military life. Such as recruit training, physical training & welfare issues. Also developed partnership with Blue Chip Companies to host fun days for them.
