I am Internationally matrixed and working with buyers and purchasing managers across business units. In the Active Chemicals group I am Involved in purchasing, warehousing, supply chain, packaging, logistics, and manufacturing.

Managed sourcing, and purchasing of approximately a $12 million spend through distribution for fifteen manufacturing sites. Initiated the qualification of foreign suppliers, brokers, and managed a ten to twelve million dollar spend for guar splits. Saved $1M on overall guar spend. Responsible for bid proposals.

Directed various projects that differ in scope and complexity for Guar and Nitrogen chemistries. Projects ranged from raw material substitutions for existing products, launching new products, to capital investments. Coordinated work from concept through production or installation to achieve the objective. Balanced and managed business requirements with analytical support, engineering, process chemistry, supply chain and logistics. Responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the Nitrogen and Guar Chemistry product line. Lead the SOIP teams. Responsible for costing, pricing, business analysis, process improvement, for produced and purchased materials. Inventory management. Cost/Production modeling and “what-if” scenarios. Integral link between the Technical Group and the Marketing/Sales Managers to perform necessary actions to bring product to market.
