Reporting to the Operations Director I am accountable for the welfare, development and management of all drivers and Senior Conductors as well as their management teams in London Midland a medium sized TOC. Comprising a team of some 1100 people headed up by a Head of Drivers and a Head of Conductors and their management teams.

Providing a mix of strategic and tactical support for all TOCs across the Stagecoach Rail Division. Specialising in Business Resilience and a range of business sensitive projects which require a good understanding of railway Operations and business functions. Recent activity includes delivery of the Fatigue project, creating and implementing a new Fatigue Policy, Procedure and work instructions. Operational skills development of the management team across the Rail Division and support for the move of the WICC to the ROC.

Part of the Serco Management team working with the Saudi Railway Company to set up and run the new High Speed Passenger Train Service between Riyadh and Haditha in the North of the Country, for the next five years.
