The Restructuring Group utilized my Manufacturing and Engineering backgrounds to implement operational procedures intended to both reduce cash demand and improve long term financial profitability/viability of the client. The Manufacturing Consulting Group asked me to help with financial projection & analysis as related to their purely operational consulting engagements.

GMR was a general management consulting business focused on troubled businesses. I was one of two employees. I was primarily responsible for the development and oversight of weekly cash plans for these troubled businesses. This portion of the assignment included the development of detailed: - Purchasing Plans (open to buy by vendor) - Staffing Plans - Production Plans (by machine/process) - Shipping Plans (sales by product and/or customer) Each of these plans were measured against actual results on a weekly basis and updated monthly (rolling three months). Often my work allowed my father (the owner of GMR and its lead consultant) the time to determine how to fix the business permanently. During turbulent financial times General Management Resources had a tremendous record of performance with troubled businesses.

* Took full responsibility for the turnaround and restructuring of extremely troubled client businesses (companies without cash and distressed creditor relations). This work included: * Immediate Creation of Cash Plans for the Operation of the Business (weekly) * Operational and Financial Assessments * Personnel Reviews and Decision Making * Development of Revised Tactics/Strategies * Implementation of Operational Changes * Development of Detailed, Achievable, and Committed Financial Plans * Close Communication with all Major Stakeholders * PMI had an extremely high rate of success in paying back creditors (both secured and unsecured) and allowing company ownership to move forward with the business.
