Receives, reviews and processes a variety of business, financial and operations requests including, but not limited to: department level travel requests/reimbursements, financial transactions, payroll/timekeeping, purchasing RFP's, supplies, services and expenditure reimbursements to ensure adherence with established procurement and financial policies, and budgetary guidelines for the unit, Enrollment Services Division, and ASU; Coordinates the processing of personnel searches and hiring within the department, and maintains personnel files consistent with University policies and practices; Prepares personnel forms for recruiting and new hire actions, interviewing and selecting staff, and terminations; and Oversees activities associated with Department Time Administrator to ensure accurate and timely recording of exception and positive time reporting for staff and students.

Prepare, project, analyze and coordinate major operational, start up, personal service and special budgets including review and authorization of supply, service and equipment purchases; Participate in internal and external audits by responding to questions and gathering supporting documents; Manage, reconcile and maintain P-Card program in accordance with University policies and procedures; Prepare financial and administrative reports; Analyze and interpret statistical, financial and management planning data to support decision making; and Supervise, hire and train a minimum of 10 office assistants each year

On-line payroll for 180 faculty and 15 staff members; Manage and reconcile 85 active sponsored accounts; Process all financial documents related to a $2MM annual budget including reimbursements, travel, vendor payments, purchases, deposits and transfers; Coordinate 5-10 conferences and special events annually, both on and off-campus, including Math Awareness, and Wexler Awards Ceremony; Advise and coordinate with Mathematics Awards Committee and Advancement Office to administer annual scholarships and fellowships of $15-20K; and Lead financial management training for faculty and administrators
