In this position I am leading a group of Software Operations Technicians supporting all aspects of the kiosk, including server, network, SQL, and including operational monitoring. This team is also responsible for troubleshooting all production issues and is on call 24x7. Another responsibility of this position is to participate in all developmental meetings regarding software for the kiosk. Software Operations manager is responsible for planning out all deployments of software to the kiosk including third party software solutions to the redbox kiosks.Key Responsibilities:- Managing a team of Software Operations Technicians to ensure the highest quality of customer service and a timely resolution of issues- Tier 3 kiosk and software support- Responsible for planning and overseeing the transfer of key information necessary for the support, operation and acceptance of solutions deployed into production- Oversee resolution of all trouble calls, emails, and work orders- Manage and participate in 24x7 application and infrastructure support on-call process- Track and monitor incident trends - Track projects and other company initiatives to their successful conclusions.- Recruit, develop, and manage a cohesive, effective and motivated staff - Drive automation and efficiency to reduce workload and streamline processes - Actively participate and partner with Change Management to ensure all planned regional changes have met organizational compliance criteria and related policies - Work with senior leadership to prepare annual capital and operating budgets and manage systems vendor relations and associated costs - The manager is required to regularly review monitoring processes and recommend improvements to increase SLAs.- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, organizational skills, and ability to analyze business problems and opportunities
