Senior Fashion Editor, News: Responsible for shaping fashion sections for W and WWD, writing designer profiles, essays and trend reports. Provided runway coverage from New York, London, Milan and Paris during the collections.

Jessica Kerwin Jenkins began her career in New York writing for Women s Wear Daily and for W, later becoming the magazine s European editor in Paris. Assignments took her all over Europe, and beyond, from Madrid to Copenhagen to Athens to Venice to Ibiza to Tallin, visiting ateliers, villas, palazzos, chateaux, and haciendas. She had dinner in the Tower of London and a rude massage in a steam bath in Tunis. In Jaipur she played in a surreal elephant polo match for charity.

Initiated an overhaul of WWD s Eye page, ushering in new editorial concepts, content and style. Responsible for assigning and editing all Eye stories for WWD, as well as for writing profiles, features, trend stories and event coverage for both W and WWD. Assignments include reviews of runway collections in New York, Milan and Paris.

During these years I worked as an editor and as a writer at W magazine and at Women s Wear Daily in New York and in Los Angeles, covering the fashion collections both in New York and in Europe, and writing lifestyle articles, travel pieces, home stories, and profiles on designers, socialites and film stars.
