• Maintenance of company tariffs and retail pricing• Prepare submission of regulatory agency applications, reports, or correspondence• Formulate and implement regulatory affairs policies, procedures for making sure that regulatory compliance is maintained or enhanced• Develop materials and train employees in regulatory compliance• Revenue Assurance and Risk Management oversight • Communicate regulatory information to multiple departments and ensure that information is interpreted correctly• Maintain current knowledge of relevant regulations, including proposed final rules• Monitor federal and state legislative activities and create action plans for lobbying various elected and unelected governmental officials• Negotiate and review contracts with vendors, customers and carriers• Provide advice or assistance with everything from launching a new product or service in the marketplace, creating implementing and tracking business and marketing plans, and engaging in strategic planning• Provide regulatory guidance to departments or development project teams regarding design, development, evaluation, or marketing of products• Review materials like marketing literature or user manuals to make sure that regulatory agency requirements are met• Appear before regulatory bodies on behalf of the company including successful arbitration of wireless interconnection agreements• Represent the company in various industry associations and collaborative efforts• Oversee all carrier access billing including NECA reporting and data requests• Reconcile 911 MSAG errors• Complete paperwork, file and appear on behalf of the company in small claims court• Train employees in OSHA required standards, inspect all company premises using OSHA guidelines, and maintain compliance records
