Executive leader with P&L responsibility for Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Content Licensing and Metadata Services group. Management responsibilities include content acquisition, content archival, data creation & management, business operations, sales, servicing, and business strategy.• Provide leadership and vision to the organization by working with Senior Executive Team to develop annual and long range plans for SPE's content licensing and metadata service businesses• Initiate and lead metadata-related projects, providing vision, strategy, and direction for team members while working with SPE business stakeholders to anticipate and address future metadata needs• Manage executive-level business relationships with Production, Post-Production, Legal Rights & Clearances, Home Entertainment, Digital Networks, and Airline/Syndication Editorial in order to facilitate delivery of assets for archival, standardized metadata capture, workflow optimization, and subsequent monetization opportunities• Business owner for two distinct clip archives, the systems that manage those archives, and the business-specific taxonomies developed to organize (and share) those archive collections• Leveraged cataloging and clearance expertise to develop SPE’s Village Well, a first-of-its-kind metadata repository that leverages production metadata, machine learning technologies, third-party data, and expert in-house cataloguers to tag studio assets at the micro-second level• Direct critical support functions (data creation, clip delivery, compliance review, strategic opportunity analysis) for cross-divisional clip monetization initiatives• Negotiate and oversee sub-distribution agreements between SPE and its licensing partners• Establish and communicate service metrics, sales targets, pricing, and best practices for licensing sales teams• Identify and develop new revenue opportunities across all product lines (film clips, stock footage, photography, and metadata services)
