This was a contract position to reduce the freight spend for a manufacturer, reduce the OTIF charges and other fines for delivering the orders late. I created policy and procedures where none has existed prior to my arrival for a fully functional logistics department. I was very successful and in the first year reduced the cost over 2M per year.

Oversaw the load planning and scheduling for a busy asset based freight broker. Lead the department and development of new employees. Implemented a new TMS and EDI technology for the company. Organized scheduling for up to 8 drop loads going cross country with multi-temp freight. Heavy contact with the customer side of the business.
