Brief description of duties and responsibilities. My duties included aseptic preparation of products predominantly in the CIVAS unit, but also in TPN and Cytotoxic units. Assembling and checking of trays, transcription of prescriptions to in-house documentation, generating labels and worksheets, My dispensary duties involved daily ward top-ups, dispensing, labelling, maintaining CD registers, manufacturing emergency kits, extemporaneous manufacture, patient counselling and providing medical information and advice. In the QA department I performed environmental monitoring of the CIVAS, TPN cytotoxic and Gene therapy suites, I also stood in for the distribution manager to cover leave, involving procurement and maintaining stock levels.

Brief description of My Duties and Responsibilities Aseptically preparing and handling radioactive pharmaceuticals using isolator technology, blood cell labeling, environmental monitoring, stock control, purchasing and invoicing, staff training, assisting with clinical trials, packaging and labelling of radioactive materials, The generation of daily calculation summary sheets, worksheets, labels etc, performing numerous calculations regarding radioactive decay, generator yields, dependant on type of isotope, thin layer chromatography of products post manufacture.

A temporary contract aseptically preparing chemotherapy medication using negative pressure isolator technology, generating worksheets and labels using Ascribe, stock control/management including ordering and daily stock checks, the assembly and manufacture of clinical trials and the generation/management of the relevant paperwork, the dispensing of dose banded chemotherapy medications, staff training, disinfecting rooms and equipment using IMS and sporicidal agents. When required I also helped out at the Hammersmith Hospital site Aseptic Department near White City.
