Successfully completed development and creation of Philips Lumileds global new hire training and development program along with associated online training modules with identical content. Successfully executed on site new hiring training for Philips Lumileds and distribution partner employees (>110 people) throughout China & Taiwan in the local language (Chinese Mandarin). Subsequently supported the Philips Lumileds Product Marketing team throughout Asia Pacific. Was heavily involved in 2 series of product roadshows, customer engagement and feedback to company headquarters to facilitate business growth, product definitions and understanding of local market conditions.

Crafted detailed learning development programs for corporate courses, tailored to the specific needs of each company and industry. Successfully educated in courses on presentations, teleconferencing, business & cultural etiquette, negotiating and survival English skills, etc.

Worked with sales, product marketing and various levels of management to conduct extensive business qualification and produce product quotations to win new business at the customer side. This included the evaluation and negotiating of pricing, supportability, product selection, color/Vf/flux selections and a number of other variables. Responsible for business qualification for the global Philips Lumileds sales team in charge of strategic customers in illumination, automotive, display and flash markets.

Began this position by supporting strategic illumination customers for the entire Americas region. This included order processing, order management/fulfillment, quality returns/processing in addition to shipping documentation, INCOTERMS and other logistics. Responsible for liaising with internal sales/manufacturing contacts as well as external distribution channel partners and customers. Very heavy interaction with customers on a daily basis. In the 2nd half of this period, was responsible for Automotive customers in the Americas (both North & South). In addition to the previous responsibilities, also managed 3PL provider to provide JIT support based on Automotive requirements. Also responsible for conducting annual audits at 3PL/warehousing locations, managing bonded inventory and flow of stock.

Developing an expanded multi-distribution channel throughout Asia Pacific. Working closely with the distribution channel to drive mutual business success and addressing any challenges hindering this. Holding regular reviews, ensuring the field is sufficiently supported and coordinated with the appropriate messaging from marketing are all key in promoting business growth throughout the region.
