Researched new PKI-like system for securing V2X communications Leveraged Kubernetes and Puppet to set up cloud infra for 99.999% uptime Secured the network by setting up a virtual network and reverse proxy to allow only routers onboard vehicles to access certain endpoints Maintained onboard crypto SDK for best developer experience, in C++ I acted as part of a small team (3 developers) to create the SCMS, a PKI (private-key infrastructure) for the world of V2X (vehicle-to-vehicle, vehicle-to-infrastructure, etc.) communication. I worked with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes with many different operators and Puppet to host and manage the project for fault tolerance and high availability; I used C# on .NET Core on the software side. I also helped maintain the SDK, the onboard libraries that interface with the SCMS; this used C++.

* Came up with creative ways of overcoming issue of progressively saving WebRTC-recorded video to server using Node.js * Created popular plugins for Moodle LMS using PHP and JavaScript * Developed open- and closed-source versions of LMS-agnostic web app in Rails, allowing students to submit audio/video assignments I thought up creative solutions to problems—such as finding the best way to upload large video files recorded in the browser to a server in a streamlined manner—using Ruby on Rails and PHP on the server side, and JavaScript and WebRTC protocols on the client end.

* Maintained front-end and upheld UX principles for product, in React * Spun up and developed multiple gRPC-communicating microservices running on Node.js, in accordance with architected domain model * Provided development-related expertise to develop automated testing process alongside company testing engineers * In addition to my roles from last work term, I: * Helped develop an automated testing initiative alongside the company's test engineers, using Robot test framework for Python, and a combination of Gauge and Taiko for JavaScript. * Did research on localization solutions for our customer-facing software solutions, separately researching, implementing and keeping notes on each one to determine the easiest and most fitting solution for our use case. * Worked on the layer between the domain model, created by the architects, and the data persistence for our back-end services, becoming familiar with Objection.js, an ORM. * Led a game-programming workshop for Grade 9 students.
