Spearheaded the creation of a completely new XBRL Filings Operations Department (“Xcelerate”) by leading key initiatives in defining workflows, enacting quality standards, creating process controls, defining and staffing team structures, modeling and forecasting production capacity, defining processing tool requirements, establishing software release cycles and setting up training programs. The department supported about 2000 internal analysts, 2000 clients, and processed over 10,000 XBRL filings under the legally mandated program of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Directed the following departments: product management, business process management, XBRL research and best practices.
