My responsibilities included: -Charged with completing a budget projection for all electronic subscriptions for 2018, basing my projections upon changes in cost during previous years; costs per month; changes in numbers of users or offices utilizing a subscription; and contract review to account for any stipulations regarding changes in costs. -Preparing selected invoices for payment, including assigning invoices to the appropriate fund account, resolving any discrepancies with charges and contacting vendors regarding any issues. -Updating catalog records over time and deleting users upon leaving the firm, ensuring that electronic subscriptions for deleted users were cancelled or marked no-renewal for the upcoming year. -Ordering titles in accordance with firm credit card protocol. -Communicating with representatives of vendors such as Wolters Kluwer, West Academic and Bloomberg BNA regarding any issues with orders.

Identified and investigated possible instances of trademark infringement (as well as other problematic material) against firm clients. * I am a summer intern in the U.S. House of Representatives, serving with the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. I have assisted the committee staff by conducting research on various issues, and have helped write reports on policy areas related to environmental concerns; such as why the EPA Brownfields program is important for the economy and the environment, and why Section 319 of the Clean Water Act (which gives states money to help restore impaired bodies of water) has been a successful program. I have also done clerical work such as answering the phone and redirecting calls, setting up committee rooms for hearings, and making copies.
