Product Manager for HP Software's Cloud OfferingAs a Senior Product Manager, I was responsible for HP Software’s flagship Cloud offering. In this role, I was responsible for - Setting the product vision, roadmap and strategy as well as playing a key role in HP Software’s cloud strategy- Identifying and quantifying the market opportunity and define market requirements- Working with customers, product development teams and early design partners- Setting pricing strategy and GTM- Engaging with technology partners for value-added offerings based on our solution- Participate in pan-HP work streams spanning hardware and services organizations on a variety of strategic initiatives- Representing HP at key events as well as EBC presentations addressing C-level audience- Prior to this role, in less than 1 year, I successfully launched a brand-new product focused on capacity management on virtualized and cloud infrastructures.

As a Technical Account Manager in the Global Sales organization, my role is to identify opportunities in the Datacenter Consolidation and Virtualization areas with a goal of selling Fujitsu’s hardware and services portfolio. Primary responsibilities include:- Understanding the customer landscape, cost drivers and requirements for consolidation- Propose technical architecture and business value-proposition / ROI using virtualization- Manage a team supporting the development of technical architecture- Engage in pre-sales activity, as needed- Advise customer on technical topics with Fujitsu product portfolio, alignment of Fujitsu product roadmap with customer projects, management of implementation, customer proof-of-concepts etc.Summary of the projects I have worked during the past year: - Managed a successful VMware Proof-of-Concept for a leading US-based Global IT Services Provider, resulting in a Phase-1 order worth over $2M. The pilot was accepted as the future reference architecture by the customer with steady revenue opportunity. My responsibilities included managing Fujitsu’s resources, coordinating with other vendors (NetApp, VMware), guiding technical discussions- Proposed a solution to consolidate nearly 17 datacenters consisting of ~150 servers spread across 4 different countries in South East Asia- Working on 2 proposals to consolidate 2 datacenters using virtualization in China
