Lately, issues of Child Welfare and Judical Justice have become important to me. I have been involved with groups of citizens active in the push for improvements to the current system of child welfare and the adminstration of justice in Colorado. The use of accounting knowledge has been helpful in these causes as I have been able to help people understand the funding for DHS and point to failures of Child Protective Services. Was active in testifying for the need of HB 10-171, Ombudsman for Child Welfare. Attended committee meetings for supporting SB11-187, that pertain to CFI's.Participated in the sucessful campaign by the group Judicial Justice to block the retention of two judges in the 8th Judicial District. Also participated in the process by Judicial Justice to help insure that no prosecutors from the Larimer County District Attorneys Office was recommended to replace the two judges not retained. Campaign was successful.

This firm mainly audited Low Income Tax Credit Properties and Properties that received HUD funding. Responsible for all the firms HUD electronic submissions.

Served as a personnelman on board the USS Bainbridge (CGN-25).Responsible for preparing and maintaining personnel records for the crew.Was a member of the boarding teams that enforced the United Nations sanctions against the former Republic of Yugoslavia, as a translator while boarding ships from Slavic countries.Was responsible for all TAD Orders and the computer system of these records. Honorably discharged.Logged 3 years of sea time while traveling the world.Iowa Grain; Performed the duties as a runner on the trading floor.Reconciled closed and open orders for the day's activities.Reviewed the current news events to be used for trading strategies the following day.
