Owned and operated three community weekly newspapers to form Hamlin County Publishing. Managed content for all newspapers including layout and design of each publication while providing editorial assistance for five-member writing staff. Provided direction and management for a staff of 9 while directing the budget, P&L, staffing and print production. Worked directly with over 200 businesses to assist with their advertising and marketing packages. Increased annual revenues by $136,000 in the first five years of ownership.
