I had a really good experience being a Substitute Teacher for Asheville City Schools however after the computer calling system (Subfinder) was added the calling volume had decreased. With gas prices being as high as they are I choose to teach in the county I live in which is Yancey County, NC.

Most of the stations listed have changed call signs and formats since I reported traffic for them.Flying airborne was fun and exciting to get to see how accidents happen and how far delays extended on the Palmetto expressway (St Rd 826), The Dolphin Expressway (St Rd 836), The Snapper Creek expressway (St Rd 878), and I-95 from the golden glades interchange to the end of I-95 where it dumps off at US-1 (South Dixie Highway) and in Broward County on I-95 from the golden glades interchange to the Palm Beach county line as well as the Florida Turnpike and the Sawgrass expressway along with I-595 also got to watch delays Westbound Davie, Broward, Sunrise, Oakland Park Blvd, Commercial Blvd all approaching I-95 those delays back in the 90's were because of short-cycling traffic lights from US-1 (Federal Highway) to the I-95 interchange especially approaching Powerline Road and Andrews Avenue. Airborne Traffic reporting was the way to go in the late 80's though 1997. It was thrilling and I really miss it.
