My tenure at Toyota Financial Services has been marked by rapid improvement in talent assessment and development, capability, and influence. As a direct result, we have also enjoyed rapid growth in the size of the team and number of areas we support. Some highlight of my tenure include:• Demonstrated between $40MM-$80MM in incremental value each year, in addition to the mission-critical work of running the business• As a direct result of the value generated, we have grown our team to 60 people, and we have grown our sphere of influence to every corner of TFS • Transformed the culture of model development and coding to include Git, Agile, and CI/CD best practices • Developed an extensive internal network of business leaders and executives, spanning the enterprise; regularly discuss current and upcoming priorities, and maintain a pipeline of projects sorted by potential value and business need• Continued to invest in developing and maintaining my technical skills, despite large leadership responsibilities – periodically assign myself a ‘story’ to be hands-on in solution development

• Developed a best-in-class recruiting capability to identify talent, and influenced the transformation of talent assessment and recruiting across the company• Led multiple model development teams supporting Risk, Accounting, and Finance in developing IFRS9/CECL models, self-updating gradient-boosted tree model for residual value, and models supporting pricing and originations• Led the development of multiple internal courses, oversaw the development of training material, and led a group of Data Scientists and Data Analytics professionals in the monthly roll-out of smaller training initiatives• Migrated model development practices, and legacy models, from on-premise SAS and SQL servers to cloud-based AWS, Python, and Snowflake solutions to enable quick and reliable deployment of ML pipelines

• Led the enterprise-wide focus on creating and implementing the first experimental design program, which ultimately changed the culture across all lines of business within the Consumer Bank• Responsible for identifying the most challenging and valuable problems in the business, making business cases for solving these problems, the technical aspects of designing and implementing DOE, modeling, and influencing outcomes based on results• Responsible for developing, inspiring, and reviewing 15 analysts

• Led a team of 5 statisticians in solving some of the highest-value problems the auto finance business• Developed the capability to rapidly rebuild our application stage risk models - automated approve/decline decisions on $20BN in originations annually.

• Responsible for leading a small team on building operations and marketing models for home equity and mortgage in the Home Loans business
